Dear Mullen-Hall Families,
Thank you to everyone that has filled out the Parent Portal. Two hundred families have completed this process with only one hundred and sixty two more to go! Please reach out with any questions.
Embracing and honoring our diversity in school culture is embedded in our learning community. This year Mrs. Pozatti has created a recording studio in her learning space with our CLIPPERS. As part of their learning students record the morning messages in English and Portuguese.

The buses have been arriving on a timelier schedule. Some traffic delays due to construction but it's getting better!
Vehicle Pick Up Reminders:
PLEASE DO NOT GET OUT OF OUR CAR in the line. It slows the process. If you would like to greet your student you may park and walk over to the vehicle pickup area.
If at dismissal and the line is full at the school you must go to the Lawrence School to line up. You may not turn around in the back parking lot by the garden as it is not fair to the others that have already been in line at the Lawrence School.
It is illegal to idle on Hamlin Ave.
When lining up at the Lawrence school please do not block the staff exit from their back parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation.

NEWS FROM MARTHA’S VINEYARD BANKING:
The Martha's Vineyard Bank School Savings Banking program begins on Friday September 27th! Student bankers bring their deposits to the cafeteria on Friday mornings at 9:15am and their money is deposited into their very own MV Bank savings account. After making their deposit they take home a small prize, answer the money related question of the week, and enter their name in for the weekly drawing. Last year our Mullen-Hall student bankers collectively saved a total of $8,655 and learned the important lesson of saving for their future!
You can click this link for more information about the program and additional information is attached in the flyers: https://ww2.schoolsavings.com/
Our banking affiliate does not allow online sign-ups so students must sign-up in person. Please keep an eye out for the application which will be coming home next week. If you are interested in participating please fill out the form and have your child bring it into school on any Friday starting Sept 27th, along with their first deposit. Deposits can be in the form of checks or cash, including coins. If your student is a returning banker from last year their account is still active and your child can just come in with their first deposit.
